  • Yes—we take both reservations and walk-ins!

    If you’re looking to dine at a certain time, we recommend getting a reservation in advance to guarantee you’ll be seated quickly.

    But we also welcome walk-in guests on a first come, first served basis all day, every day. 

  • Yes! Each of our locations offers outdoor seating, weather permitting. You can even reserve a patio seat through our reservation system.

  • Parking options vary depending on the location:

    For St. Paul, free and paid street parking is available. Paid ramp parking is available in the Green Ramp of the Ritchie Medical Plaza at the northwest corner of Grand Ave. and 7th Street West.

    For St. Louis Park, free underground garage parking is available.

    For Eagan, Edina, and Woodbury, free parking is available in the lot in front of the building.

  • We specialize in breakfast and brunch favorites, done with our own hope-filled spin.

    We also proudly serve brunch cocktails from open to close each day, earning the “bar” portion of our name. Every hour is happy hour at Hope!

  • Yes. 2:00 p.m. is the cut off for reservations online, and we close at 3:00 p.m. daily.

  • Yes! Hope is meant for people of all ages to enjoy a meal together. We have seating (high chairs available) and menu options (see our kids’ menu and our breakfast cocktail options) for everyone!

  • Yes, but we ask that you make a reservation in advance so that we can seat you together. For groups of 8 or more, we do require a gratuity included for your table. 

    Please feel free to contact our event team with questions about booking our space in the evenings for private events.

  • Yes. We can accommodate many allergies–gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan for example. All of our menu items have dietary notations to help guide your selections. Please see the bottom of the menu for specific listing notes. 

    Due to the nature of our menu, we cannot eliminate all lactose (namely butter). 

    As for aversions and preferences, please let us know your wishes and we’ll do our best to edit the dish to fit your needs. It is important to us that everyone has a great dining experience.

  • Yes! We have wheelchair accessible seating and restroom options available.

  • Yes. Dogs are welcome on our outdoor patio, but are not allowed inside the restaurant.

  • Yes! You can get Hope to go!

    We offer takeout at all of our locations.

  • We are a small restaurant, often with a busy reservation list. If you can let us know at least 24 hours before your reservation time (or sooner) we greatly appreciate it.

  • Nope! Wear anything you feel comfortable in and would wear to another restaurant.

  • Yes! We are happy to discuss booking a special private event at any one of our Hope Breakfast Bar (or Purpose Restaurants) locations. As a guide, each location can accommodate different size groups. 

    In St. Paul, our upstairs gathering area can accommodate seating for 30 people; while our main level can seat an additional 70 guests.

    At West End (St. Louis Park), our main floor dining space features a walk-up bar for pre-party entertaining as well as comfortable seating for 110 guests.

    Our Eagan location features a dining space and patio  perfect for entertaining as well as seating for 130 guests.

    In the winter months, we are unable to utilize our patio spaces, but if the weather permits, our patios make a great extension of our gathering spaces!

    The food and beverage minimum varies depending on the date and menu selected. 

    All events will be scheduled after 4 p.m.

  • Yes! Nothing says party like pancakes! If you’d like to order a catered meal for your next event, please contact our event team and we’d be happy to share with you all of the options available.

  • Brian Ingram is our chef/owner. As a chef, concept developer, and restaurateur, bringing people together to share a meal is his life’s work. He and his wife, Sarah, founded Purpose Restaurants and pride themselves on hiring a talented team with hearts for the people they serve.
